Submission Guidelines
IMPORTANT: We can ONLY accept XML/RSS news feeds. These can include information sources such as press releases and articles, but they must be filed in an acceptable format. In a nutshell, this is:
Name of RSS feed/source
http://www.domainname.com/rss_feed.php [NOT the site's main index]
A short, objective description about the news feed and its source.
We want to take this opportunity to outline why some submissions are accepted and some are declined.
THE GOOD:
ClickPress Latest News
http://www.clickpress.com/cgi-bin/releases/search.cgi?query=;isNew=Yes;xml_feed=1
Latest news filed with ClickPress.
• Title is the news feed's name; URL points to the RSS feed, description is short and does not include motivate/subjective words like 'best', 'cheapest', etc.; site is referred to in the third person, rather than the first person (that is, we can't accept descriptions with 'our', 'we', etc)
THE BAD:
All the latest news from ClickPress
http://www.clickpress.com/xml_feeds.shtml
Hottest news delivered straight to your desktop.
• Title isn't the feed's name; URL doesn't point to RSS feed, description includes 'hottest'. If your site is made a Featured Link then we'll put the emotive words in, honest!
THE UGLY:
FREE NEWS FREE NEWS FEEDS
http://www.clickpress.com
Get yr FREE news atCLICKPRESS today!
• Title isn't the domain name; title and description are littered with spelling mistakes and unnecessary CAPITALS and - oh dear - an exclamation mark; URL is the index page.
A word on your privacy: we don't sell or rent out your email addresses, but will send you the occasional note regarding our site and services. We won't send emails including all third-party commercial content (that is, we won't send all-advert emails).
nfeeds.com is offered on an as-is basis with no guarantees or warranties.
